There are so many great things to see and do in Sydney that we couldn't possibly list them all here! However here are some of our favourites, and links to websites that will give you more information.

Sydney Tourist Information: www.sydney.com.au or www.visitnsw.com.au.

Our favourite attractions:

Slip under the sails of the Sydney Opera House for a tour and performance. Summer highlights at the House include shows in The Famous Spiegeltent in the forecourt, Sydney Festival performances, and Sunday afternoon jazz at the sunny Opera Bar. www.sydneyoperahouse.com. (02) 9250 7777.

At Sydney Wildlife World visit the butterfly nursery before getting up close to these gorgeous creatures in their steamy Flutterbys butterfly habitat. The Shark Explorer' glass-bottom boat at Sydney Aquarium floats above the Great Barrier Reef oceanarium. You'll see shark feeding in perfect safety. www.sydneywildlifeworld.com.au. Aquarium Pier Darling Harbour. (02) 9333 9288.

One of the most exhilarating ways to enjoy Sydney Harbour is on a BridgeClimb, a trek which takes you to the summit of the Harbour Bridge. Climb at dawn, day, twilight or night, or take the Discovery Climb, which takes you for a closer look at the inside workings of the Bridge. www.bridgeclimb.com. 5 Cumberland Street
The Rocks. (02) 8274 7777

Taronga Zoo is the nation's leading zoological garden, featuring Australia's finest collection of native animals and a diverse collection of exotic species. What makes Taronga something special is its location. It is situated on elevated land along the waterfront, in one of the most beautiful vantage points on Sydney Harbour overlooking Sydney Cove, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. www.taronga.org.au. Bradleys Head Rd. Mosman NSW 2088 (02) 9969 2777.
